Your favorite Merchant Services CRM lead has just been updated with two new features — a quick delete option, and an improved lead restore functionality!
The new changes make it easier to manage dead leads and provide you with ample time to restore a lead in case it starts showing new signs of life! 🙂
Previously, a lead could not be deleted without first removing all the assigned users from the lead, and then searching for the lead via the Manage Unassigned Leads feature and deleting it there.
This update does away with all the extra steps, and you can now delete a lead by simply clicking the Delete button in the lead Actions widget and clicking OK on the confirmation prompt:
Note: only users with the “Manage & Import” user class permission will see the Delete button.
Once a lead is deleted it will show in the Deleted Leads page for 30 days, where an Administrator can restore it if needed, together with all of its notes, attachments, and data. See the next section for more info.
After the 30-day period has elapsed, the lead will be removed from the system permanently.
Restoring the Lead
Administrators can see and restored deleted leads by going to Manage > Administration > Logs > Deleted Leads.
To restore a single lead, simply click on the Restore button for that lead.
To restore multiple leads, select the checkboxes for the leads on the left side of the table and click the Mass Restore button:
In both cases, a pop-up will appear that allows you to select the settings and assigned user(s) for the restored lead(s):
After selecting the lead options, click OK and the leads will be restored and available in searches and the My Leads page.
And there you go!
We hope you enjoy using the new features and save yourself valuable time in the process!
Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!!
